INTO Newcastle University – International Year One Engineering
INTO Newcastle University is delighted to announce the launch of a new International Year One Programme in Engineering which has been developed in collaboration with the School of Engineering at Newcastle University. https://www.intostudy.com/en/universities/newcastle-university/courses
The International Year One Engineering programme is a pathway to MEng with Honours in Engineering (UCAS Code H104) which has specialisms in Civil, Electrical & Electronic and Mechanical Engineering. The programme is designed to help students develop the diverse skills relevant to the needs of industry and today’s global challenges; and has been designed alongside industry experts to provide a broad-based engineering education. https://www.ncl.ac.uk/undergraduate/degrees/h104/ Students will gain the depth of understanding and the interdisciplinary skills required to be successful in a number of engineering sectors.
The School of Engineering has a long tradition of excellence in teaching, recognised in many external surveys and assessments, but also by our own students. Our commitment to teaching quality and an excellent student experience is reflected through our results in national and international student satisfaction surveys.
The City of Newcastle upon Tyne is where great innovators such as Armstrong, Stephenson, Merz and Swan developed ideas that changed the world, and the School of Engineering is proud to continue the city’s rich history in world-leading engineering, innovation, and creativity through ground-breaking research. The School works closely with government and industrial partners; addressing global challenges such as: climate change; sustainable energy; transport; clean water supply and waste management. https://www.ncl.ac.uk/engineering/
